Hello Huyen, We just arrived back in Jakarta last night . Our 2 nights in Saigon were very enjoyable , the tour guide was v good – gave us his card and i believe my sons have added him in facebook .
Huyen, Thank you very much for helping make our family trip to Vietnam such a memorable experience . My next venture to Vietnam is to go to Hue and Danong (spelling?) .
Our last dinner at HCM at the French restaurant ” troud gourmand” was exceptionally great ! The food was very food , service was exceptional – they continued giving my sons their bread and when my sons love their soup so much, they even offered to give extra bowls of soup for them complimentary – unbelievable service ! Every dish was delicious – for the price we paid we got much more than we expected – definitely i will be back to that restaurant .
We are already planning to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary this December at Saigon in that French Restaurant .
Once again, Thank you Huyen, you did a fantastic job and appreciate your patience and effort to answer all our needs and enquiries.
Hope to catch up with you again soon . Keep in touch !

Dear Huyen, Thanks for the extra support you gave us during our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. You were a great support throughout the trip – it was so unfortunate that John was unwell. Nevertheless it all worked out fine, without any major drama. The highlights of the trip for me were as follows: Haylon Bay (next time I’ll spend a second night on the boat); Hoi An and the wonderful resort — the accommodation and the ambience were top class and I’d recommend that resort to everyone. I enjoyed Cambodia although next time I’ll go when the weather is less hot. In all, a wonderful experience.
So thanks once more for your great service.
Warm regards,, Ann.

Well, we’ve been home for almost 2 weeks and I can’t believe how much we miss Vietnam.
I wanted to let you know that the trip you planned for us was absolutely the best trip of our lives!! We had so much fun, we learned so much and we met such wonderful people that we know we have to return to your country soon.
Everything from the airline tickets throughout Vietnam, the airport transfers, the amazing hotels you recommended to us and the people you arranged to take us on tours was like something you would read about in a travel magazine. The food, the architecture, the craziness of crossing the road, the people you watch on the sidewalk and the astounding amount of everything that people somehow carry on their scooters made every second so spectacular that we didn’t want to close our eyes for fear we would miss something.
I also want to thank you for choosing La Veranda for us as a last minute switch. We walked down the beach and had dinner at The Cassia Cottage where we were originally going to stay and it definitely wasn’t as nice as it looks online. We were there after dark but when we walked up to the road to catch a taxi back to La Veranda we could see that there was definitely some construction going on beside it. It didn’t really look like there were many people staying there but the restaurant was open. I think that was the only place we had any trouble with mosquitoes. They have quite a lazy little river that runs through the lawn where you eat dinner and I think the mossies like the stagnant water.
One of our favorite places was Halong Bay. The boat we were on, The Prince II, was great. We actually lucked out and had some wonderful weather while there. We got a little rain on our last morning while sailing back to the dock. We would like to take a longer cruise if they offer one next time we come?
Hanoi was great! Did some shopping and lots of wondering around. The Golden Silk Hotel was beautiful and the staff were the best.
I think my favorite place was Hoi An. You could walk for miles around the “old town” and eat and drink in a hundred different places. I actually bought myself a beautiful glass stingray necklace and almost cried myself to sleep after we came home because I couldn’t find it. Hopefully it will turn up in one of our bags or folded up in some laundry. Sheri even got into the shopping in Hoi An!! She has never been a big shopper but she certainly had a lot of souvenirs when we came home.
The Rex in Saigon was also amazing. They did a wonderful job surprising Doug and Sheri for their anniversary. Ho Chi Minh City is quite the “old mixed with the new” and we found ourselves enjoying it much more then anticipated.
I would like to send you some pictures of our holiday within the next few days (I’m still sorting pictures out from our 2 cameras and Sheri’s camera) and please feel free to put them on your Face book Page or, if you like, I am also planning on writing a glowing review of you and Indochina Voyages for Trip Advisor.
Please take care and we will be contacting you for our next trip in 2015!!
Thank you so much for everything (especially putting up with my hundreds of emails and questions)!!
Please send a copy of this to Tim Lee – I can’t find his email address?

Hello Huyen, Yes we are back at home now! Thank you so much for all your help before and during our vacation in Vietnam. Especially since it was probably a very busy time for you, with your wedding day and everything that surrounds it. We were surprised at how much you still took time off even on your wedding day to make sure we were having a good time. All the hotel suggestion you gave us were wonderful and we truly enjoyed ourselves. You have a beautiful country and we plan on going back to see everything we didn’t have to see this time.
We will not hesitate to recommend you to all our friends and family traveling to Vietnam.
Good luck in your new marriage and we hope to see you again soon!

Dear Hien, We arrived home last Sunday after a wonderful trip to Vietnam.I just want to say thank you for all the help you gave us…it made our trip so much more enjoyable having you do hotel bookings…visa…and air flights within Vietnam and the great airport/hotel transfers. Plus advice on tailors etc…Lex is very happy with his copy C/D’s they all play perfectly. Really impressed with Saigon…it is a “happening” city with lots of new developments going on, they must be expecting big increases in “tourism”!!!

I’ve used Indochine Voyages a few few times and it has been amazing. The first time I had to book a Ha Long Bay trip for my friends family, now I’ve been to Ha long Bay at least 4 times before but this trip was amazing compared to the others, great food, super nice crew and the boat went to a rarely visited part of the bay so on the two days we only saw only 5 other boats. Also I’ve booked a few plane tickets with them and they have always had good prices and great service, even when changing the return dates, super friendly and painless to deal with, also super reasonable price-wise

My family and I booked the tour to Halong Bay with Indochina Voyages. It was a fantastic experience – their boats take you to a more remote part of the bay than standard tours (so there are only a few other boats around). The crew were friendly and professional, the food was great, and kayaking and a cave-tour were provided as part of the trip. We had a wonderful trip and I would really recommend this company
Keith Archdale from England- Halong Prince Junk, July, 2012
I wanted to thank you for all your help and effort in making our trip to Halong so memorable. We all really appreciate the way you handled our booking and your concern for our welfare during the trip. I would highly recommend you and your company to anyone looking to book a trip. I look forward to meeting you again in the future! Best Wishes

Most of my colleagues including Irene are on leave today except me working, obviously I feel very tired and need to restart my engine again….ha ha…anyhow we really enjoyed our trip especially the one night cruise to Ha Long Bay….I will definitely use Indochina Voyages if we travel to Vietnam/Asia again..
