Ba Na Hills, the eco-tourism heaven of Central Vietnam

Ba Na Hills– Chua Mountain tourist area is located about two hours from Da Nang, the largest city in central Vietnam. Particularly, situated on the high of nearly 1500 meters above sea level, you can enjoy the cool and fresh temperature and witness a stunning landscape of the South China Sea and surrounding mountains here (the average temperature in the summer is about 18oC), as a result, Ba Na become an ideal eco-tourism in the Central Vietnam.

Home to French resort built in the 1920s, the Ba Na hill station or hill resort used to be a playground for French visitors, who would come to enjoy the more than 200 villas, clubs, bungalows and restaurants built the same as French architecture. Unfortunately, after the war, this place was ruined. Da Nang has recently restored and remodeled a few ancient French villas, Buddhist cultural area, the new hotels and bars. Each of them has its own flower garden with a various types of aristocratic flower that Frenchmen left during the 50 past years. The breathtaking scenes of the Ba Na Hills

When arrival, you have a chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars, which assists you not only get to the top of the Ba Na hill station, but also give you awe-inspiring views of the surrounding forests and mountains. The record- breaking cable car runs from the base of the Ba Na Mountain to Vong Nguyet’s peak.

In 1986 Ba Na was recognized as natural reserve area, in which tropical forest and precious animals are protected. Ba Na has different flora and fauna. In the old-growth forest, there includes 260 species of fauna, above 60 species of animal, nearly 180 species of birds and 17 species of reptile. The flora comprises of over 500 species. In addition, there are a significant number of rare animals here such as Crested Argus, Asian Black Bear and so on. At the top of the mountain is the Linh Ung Pagoda, a gorgeous and holy Buddhist temple which provides visitors a chance for peaceful reflection and see a 24 meter white Buddhist, which is visible from miles away.

The most interesting thing, when you visit here, Ba Na Hills Fantasy Park- amusement park in Vietnam’s largest state. To meet the entertainment needs of all ages, the Park was constructed, not only kids but adults also participate from the fun games to games thrills. In the entertainment world this class, Fantasy Park also has three main dining areas serving dishes of European, Asian and Souvenir shop area with a full of range of products in diverse categories.

Equally important, standing on peak of the Ba Na Hills, particularly in evenings, travelers can see the entire city of Da Nang with the majestic forest, the gorgeous beaches and enjoy the fresh air and magical lights from stars and light bulbs of the city.
