Cai Be Floating Market is the biggest daily wholesale market in southwest region. This river market is located in Cái Bè County, Tiền Giang province, along Tân Phong island where is an adjacence of three provinces: Tiền Giang, Bến Tre and Vĩnh Long. Though it is most famous for fruit which means you can taste many fruit of Vietnam here, the market offers a wide range of product including agricultural products, household goods, even foods and drinks, etc. Cái Bè is the county that has the most number of fruit gardens in Tiền Giang Province. The market has come into being since the end of 17th century and early 18th century, when the first Vietnamese came here and settled in the land. The most long-standing floating market in Tiền Giang attracts tourists both local and foreign with the lively sight of dense boat web and the busy atmosphere.

 Wholesalers on big boats moor here, each especialising in just few types of fruit. Like any other markets, the market is where people exchange goods, but sellers here often stand quietly at their boat rather than cry out about their goods because every boat has a long pole to hang samples.
