This Vietnam 12 days itinerary takes you to the most classic places but also you can experience local life. For more than 10 days in Vietnam, you will travel from the south to the north to see highlights with lovely towns, enjoy stunning natural landscapes, and experience exquisite local cultures.

Day 01: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL

As soon as you land, a member of our staff will pick you up and take you to the hotel, where you may check-in. You will have the entire afternoon to yourself to explore Ho Chi Minh City. Then we’ll spend the night here.

Day 02: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNEL

There will be a lot of history to learn today. We’ll go to the Cu Chi Tunnels after breakfast at the hotel. Surprisingly, Viet Cong soldiers dig Cu Chi tunnels by hand in order to turn it into a covert military outpost. This place is a must-visit if you wish to understand more about the Vietnam War.

After that, you’ll head back to Ho Chi Minh City to eat lunch at a neighborhood eatery. Afternoon excursions include stops at the War Museum and the Reunification Palace. The official one, which served as the office of the Southern President of Vietnam, is filled with amazing images and wartime artifacts. You’ll later pay a quick visit to the neighboring historic post office and Notre Dame Cathedral.

You may shop like a local at Ben Thanh Market, your last stop. In Ho Chi Minh City for the night

Day 03: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA

After breakfast, we embark on a day cruise to learn more about the Mekong River and the region’s distinctive, energetic way of life. Afterward, depending on the cruise you select, you can stop by a nearby orchard house to sample delectable tropical fruits, discover how to make traditional coconut sweets at a nearby workshop, and so on.

At the end of your journey, you return to Ho Chi Minh City to take one more look around. Ho Chi Minh City, overnight.

Day 04: HO CHI MINH – DA NANG – HOI AN

We travel to the airport this morning and take a flight to Da Nang. Our driver will pick you up at the Da Nang airport and take you to your hotel in Hoi An Old Town. Following check-in, you can go exploring in Hoi An. You will go to a few unique places such as the Tan Ky House, the Chinese Embassy Halls, the Japanese Bridge, and Phuc Kien Pagoda.

Following supper, you are free to explore Hoi An at your own speed. Take advantage of this opportunity to see the exquisitely lighted Hoi An lantern, get some Instagram-worthy photos, or just relax and take in the ambiance.

Day 05: HOI AN – MY SON

You will proceed to the My Son sanctuary, a site of international significance, after breakfast. This collection of Hindu temples, which date to the fourth century, depicts the tale of the once-powerful Cham empire.

You can relax at the beach in the afternoon, shop for crafts and trinkets in Hoi An, or simply wander down the river to see what this area was like 300 years ago. Hoi An hotel overnight.

Day 06: HOI AN - DA NANG - HUE

We’ll transfer to Hue after finishing up any last-minute shopping. We make a pit break along the journey to see Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain). You ascend Thuy Son (the Mount of Water) by means of stone steps, arriving at the summit to take in the breathtaking panoramic view of the Vietnamese countryside.

At the base of the mountain, you will have lunch and take a nap. The day begins with a trip to the Non Nuoc stone village, where talented local artisans fashion exquisite marble goods that are exported all over the world.

We arrive at Hue in the late afternoon, check-in, and unwind.

Day 07: HUE CITY TOUR

Start your day by exploring the magnificent Imperial City, which has many intact royal structures. Then go on a dragon boat and travel along the Perfume River, stopping at Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest and most important Buddhist sites. You continue your journey to the Tu Duc tomb, which is renowned for its magnificent design, after eating lunch at a nearby restaurant.

You will then go to Dong Ba market, which is the largest market in this area. Stay the night in Hue.

Day 08: HUE - HANOI

Our driver will meet you in the hotel lobby this morning and take you to the airport so you can catch a flight to Hanoi. Once you get to Hanoi, check into a hotel in the Old Quarter, and then take the rest of the day to unwind.

Day 09: HANOI CITY TOUR

You will visit the most important attractions in Hanoi on this day trip. You will first go to the Ho Chi Minh Complex. It was formerly the home of Ho Chi Minh, the legendary leader of Vietnam, and today it serves as a useful resource for tourists curious about his life and career. The Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, will be your next trip. We arrive at the Ethnology Museum after leaving the city center a little bit further. You can learn more about the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups here while having fun, thanks to the fascinating antiques and breathtaking pieces of visual art.

The Old Quarter is now in view. Through its congested streets, you have the option of walking or taking an electric bus. The streets were given names based on their location or product, and they still do today. After that, see a special water puppet show that highlights Vietnamese mythology and culture.

Day 10: HANOI – HALONG

We are prepared to be picked up at 7.45 am after breakfast for the 3-hour trip to Halong Bay. You are welcomed on board at 11.30 and served a set meal while sailing in the bay. The precise schedule will largely consist of visiting the Amazing cave, kayaking, and swimming in crystal-clear water, depending on the tour you select. Dinner and a night’s sleep aboard the ship.

Day 11: HALONG - HANOI

The sounds of the waves, the breeze, and the fresh air, wake up on the bay. Greetings on this new day. After breakfast, visit a stunning limestone cave, then return to the boat for one more look at Halong Bay as you sail back to the port. By 11.30 am, the boat has arrived in the harbor. To return to Hanoi, your driver is waiting for you. Hanoi overnight stay.

Day 12: HANOI DEPARTURE

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning before going shopping or taking a stroll to the center lake area. Be prepared with your luggage and for your journey either back home or to the next Indochina location.
