DAY 01: SAIGON ARRIVAL
Welcome to Vietnam! You are warmly greeted by our driver at Tan Son Nhat airport. Transfer to your hotel, check in, and take a rest to recover from jet lag.

Itinerary
This Southern Vietnam 5 days tour works well if you have limited time but still want to see what makes the south special. You’ll spend a few days in Ho Chi Minh City, then head to the Mekong Delta where you can choose between staying in a regular hotel or upgrading to spend a night on a river cruise. Everything is private, from car to driver, guide, so you can move at whatever speed feels right.
The south is quite different from the rest of Vietnam. The city is louder and more modern, while the delta is all about slow river life and floating markets. Most of our travelers enjoy this contrast. You’ll visit some important war sites, see how tunnel systems worked, and spend real time on the water meeting local families. DAY 02: SAIGON SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, today we will get out and be surprised by the vibrancy of this industrious metropolis; tour the must-see sites including the Notre Dam Cathedral, Central Post Office, the torn past War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace and the aged old Ben Thanh Market; immerse yourself in the chaos of traffic and commercial activities of this fascinating city’s life and lights that never seem to stop.
You will have chance to get “off-the-beaten-path” by discover and walk into the narrow alleys of Saigon, see Saigonese real life and interact with local people.

DAY 03: CU CHI TUNNELS- CAO DAI
This morning, we transfer to Tay Ninh where the Cao Dai Temple located, to observe a colorful but solemnly midday service. Caodaism is a combination of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. After lunch, we continue our drive to explore the complicated network of underground tunnels in Cu Chi, which were used by the V.C and guerilla fighters during the Vietnam War.

DAY 04: SAIGON- DRIVE TO MEKONG/ CAI BE- EMBARK ON BOAT
Departs from Saigon to Mekong Delta, embark on boat and discover the lush beauty of the Mekong Delta as you wind your way down narrow canals on a sampan that glides along fruit orchards, paddy fields and sleepy villages; you will have chance to take the leisure bike ride on the island, wave your hands and say “xin chao” to the children and people on the village roads.
Furthermore, admiring the local life along the banks and enjoying your cocktails on sunset will not be missed.

DAY 05: CAN THO- DISEMBARKATION- DRIVE BACK TO SAIGON
Last early bird of the trip (at around 6.30 am) with a visit by boat to the famed Cairang floating market, where you can see a real hustle market, all in the water of the Mekong, the vendors display the delta’s bounty of fruits and vegetables on their boats. However, busy selling and buying, they will never forget to throw you happy smiles and wave at you. Disembark and then drive to back to Saigon.

DAY 06: SAIGON - DEPARTURE
Free at leisure on your own until the driver picks you up and transfers to the airport for your onward flight.
