Our month in Vietnam rates as one of the most rewarding travel journeys ever — and Hue and her Indochina Voyages team deserve tremendous credit for our experience.
For about the same price as a typical group tour, we enjoyed a custom travel program, created to suit our interests and needs. Our guides were warm, highly informative and openly shared their own perspectives and personal experiences. All of them had grown up and lived in the region we toured with them. The drivers met us with newer clean and comfortable vans, and were always on time or early. From airport to hotel, and each day of our tour, we were taken care of in a stress free style. In Saigon. And Hanoi airports, our guides escorted us to the check-in counters!
The hotels booked for us were top tier with great service. On one occasion we requested a different hotel than the one originally booked, and the change was made quickly and to our great satisfaction.(There was nothing wrong with the original booking, we just discovered a place we really wanted to stay).
Communication was super — we always had the mobile number for our local guide and for Hue, our agent.
