DAY 1: Hanoi Arrival & Half-day Hanoi City tour

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by your English-speaking guide and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi.

In the afternoon, you’ll begin a half-day walking tour of the city:

Visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake), the spiritual and geographical heart of Hanoi.

Wander through the bustling Old Quarter, exploring its narrow streets filled with local shops, ancient architecture, and lively street scenes.

Enjoy a traditional cyclo ride for a relaxing and immersive experience around the city’s historic streets.

The evening is your time to enjoy a delightful Hanoi-style street food dinner, sampling famous dishes like pho, bun cha, or spring rolls.

DAY 2: Hanoi - Halong Overnight Cruise

After breakfast, depart from Hanoi for a scenic drive to Halong Bay. Upon arrival at Sunworld International Harbor in Bai Chay, you’ll board the Halong Overnight Cruise, your floating home for the night.

Settle into your cabin and enjoy a welcome drink and a short safety briefing before cruising into the stunning Bai Tu Long Bay, a quieter and less touristy part of the Halong region.

As the cruise glides past limestone karsts and emerald waters, savor a set menu lunch served onboard. In the afternoon, enjoy outdoor activities:

  • Kayak through tranquil lagoons and caves
  • Swim or relax on the secluded beach of Cap La

As the sun begins to set, enjoy a peaceful moment on deck with a Sunset Party and Happy Hour.

Later, indulge in a BBQ dinner served under the stars (on the sundeck, weather permitting). Spend the rest of your evening:

  • Trying squid fishing with the crew
  • Joining fun board games or karaoke (on request)
  • Relaxing with a drink at the cruise’s sky bar (at your own expense)

Halong overnight cruise

DAY 3: Cong Do - Vung Vieng Fishing Village - Halong Port - Hanoi – Bat Trang Pottery Village

Begin the day with a gentle Tai Chi session on the sundeck, followed by a light breakfast. The cruise continues through the bay to the Vung Vieng Fishing Village, where you will hop on a bamboo boat to learn about the traditional lifestyle of local fishing communities.

After returning to the main cruise, you’ll have time to relax and check out of your cabin. A farewell lunch is served as you enjoy the last scenic views of Halong Bay.

Disembark at the harbor and head back to Hanoi. On the way, make a cultural stop at Bat Trang Pottery Village, where you can:

  • Visit a traditional ceramic workshop
  • Explore the interactive Bat Trang Pottery Museum

Continue the journey back to the capital and check in at your hotel for a well-earned rest.

DAY 4: Hanoi - Sapa - Silver Waterfall - O Quy Ho Pass

After breakfast, you’ll depart Hanoi for the scenic 6-hour drive to Sapa, through dramatic mountain landscapes. Upon arrival:

  • Visit Silver Waterfall, one of the highest in Vietnam and a stunning photo spot.
  • Continue to O Quy Ho Pass, one of the most impressive mountain passes in the country, offering breathtaking panoramic views.

Trekking in Sapa

DAY 5: Half day trekking in Lao Chai - Ta Van

After breakfast, begin your morning with a scenic trek through the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in Northern Vietnam. Surrounded by towering mountains and dramatic rice terraces, this route offers a perfect mix of natural beauty and cultural insight.

Your trek will take you to:

  • Lao Chai Village, home to the Black H’mong ethnic group, where you can observe their unique customs, traditional houses made of wood and earth, and intricate handwoven clothing.
  • Continue on foot to Ta Van Village, inhabited by the Dzay people. The Dzay are known for their friendly hospitality, and you’ll have the chance to see their traditional stilt houses and learn about their daily life, agriculture, and community values.

As you walk, take in the spectacular views of cascading rice terraces, mountain streams, and local farmers at work—offering endless photo opportunities and authentic cultural experiences.

Return to Sapa town around midday for a well-deserved break.

Optional: In the afternoon, take a trip to the Fansipan Cable Car Station. Ascend nearly 3,000 meters to the summit of Mount Fansipan, known as the “Roof of Indochina.” At the top, enjoy panoramic views stretching across the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, visit the majestic Great Buddha statue, spiritual pagodas, and feel the cool, fresh air at the highest peak in Vietnam.

DAY 6: Sapa - Hanoi

After breakfast, check out and return to Hanoi by road.

On the way, relax and enjoy the changing scenery. Upon arrival in Hanoi, the rest of the day is free at leisure. You can enjoy last-minute shopping, explore local cafés, or unwind at your hotel.

DAY 7: Hanoi Departure

Enjoy your final morning in Hanoi. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time before your transfer to the airport.
