Great trip and outstanding service when we had an accident

Indochina Voyages put together an 18-day customized itinerary for the three of us (all senior travelers) traveling through Vietnam and Cambodia. We especially enjoyed seeing the villages and beautiful green rice fields in Mai Chau, and loved our cooking class in Hoi An. We took a vespa ride through Saigon that was a bit hair-raising, but super fun! And of course, the temples at Angkor Wat were beautiful and awe inspiring.
Communication with Indochina Voyages before and during the trip was clear and prompt (we worked with Van, who was fantastic.) Our guides at each location were organized, informative and spoke great English.
We did have an unfortunate event: About half way through our trip, one of our party slipped, fell, and broke her leg. So while we were spending the day in two different hospitals attending to our friend’s injury, Van was booking new lodging arrangements, new flights to Cambodia and an emergency flight back to LAX for our injured friend. Indochina Voyages also provided a personal representative to help buy crutches, rent a wheelchair and assist our friend in the airport. Honestly, their support was outstanding and we could not have managed the emergency without their kind and gracious help. I haven’t left reviews on TripAdvisor in the past, but felt compelled to write this one because of the superb job done by Van and Indochina Voyages.
