Day 02: Siem Reap – Angkor Complex – Dinner with Apsara Dance Show

We will spend a full day exploring the wondrous Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom complex. From the colossal stone face in Angkor Thom’s South Gate to the richly decorated Bayon temple to the great Angkor Wat temple, these architectural masterpieces will shift you to the past when the once-mighty Khmer empire thrived.

Enjoy your dinner while watching Apsara dancing – a mesmerizing Khmer art performance.

Day 03: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei – Ta Prohm

Get ready to behold the glory of Angkor wat temple at dawn

After that, you will visit Banteay Srei temple, or “the citadel of Women”,  one of the most intricate well-preserved temples in Siem Reap. Along the way, we stop at Preah Dark village and the Banteay Samre Temple known for its impressive scenes of Hindu legends.

Your cultural trip continues with a visit to Ta Prohm, a holistic temple lost in the jungle. The enormous fig trees embracing themselves in the temple’s stone foundations of the structure are so stunning that Tomb Raider filmmakers make it their film set.

Day 04: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Flight to Bangkok

Today you will embark on a boat trip to Tonle Sap Lake – the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia. Hundreds of people live in floating houses and do most of their activities on this lake’s water. It is also a great chance to explore a flooded forest, a very unique biosphere.

Goodbye Cambodia, we transfer to the airport for the flight to Bangkok, Thailand. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 05: Bangkok City Tour

Explore the best of Bangkok today.
Take a boat ride to Chao Phraya River, slide through these tranquil canals and see the local’s nostalgic life. The nostalgia continues in Wat Arun- ‘the Temple of Dawn’, where you can climb to have a great view over the Chao Praya River and the Grand Palace.

Day 06: Bangkok – Floating Market – Ayutthaya

Explore Damnoen Saduak floating market, where old ladies sell colorful fruits and souvenirs from their little wooden boats in a setting of old wooden houses and bridges.

Head to Siam former Capital City. You will discover Wat Chai Wattanaram a UNESCO heritage site resembling Angkor Wat’s architecture while emerging in the story of Burmese Siamese wars.

Browse a night market in Ayutthaya in the evening.

Day 07: Ayutthaya – Bangkok – Flight to Chiang Mai

Let’s take a visit to Bang Pa In summer palace, a huge collection of royal homes on the bank of Chao Praya river before flying to Chiang Mai.

Day 08: Elephant Owner For A Day: Morning Session – Monk Chat

Spend your morning playing with elephants in an ethical elephant sanctuary. You will learn to take care and interact with these cute giants as how their owner does. Some activities are feeding and checking their health, bathing and brushing them.

Goodbye to the elephants, we join a monk chat in the evening. The monk will answer all your questions about their life, their history, Buddhism. This honest and open communication with the monks will give you lots of insights about the spiritual life of Thailand people.

Continue to find the taste of Chiang Mai in a local market with a variety of delicious traditional cuisines.

Elephant Owner for a Day

Day 09: Doi Suthep & City Tour – Flight to Krabi

Today is your journey to Chiang Mai’s grand temples.

The first stop is Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, which is Chiang Mai’s most sacred temple. Situated in a hill 1000 meters above the sea, the magnificent golden temple contains the Budda’s holy relics and offer a panoramic view of Chiang Mai city.

Back to the city center, we visit two nearly a-thousand-year-old temples: Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang. One is the head religious city administration, the other is Chiang Mai’s largest temple.

Next stop, we go north to  Wat Chiang Man old walled city. The founding King of Chiang Mai is said to have spent his last years in this temple. Drive around the old city to see the moat surrounding and its ruins.

Finally, visit Worarot Market center market, where you can find exotic fresh fruits, local delicacies, clothes galore, flowers and other knick-knacks, all at reasonable prices.

Fly to Krabi.
