Day 01: HANOI ARRIVAL

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport. You will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver. Transfer to the hotel in about 35 minute drive. Check in and have a restful overnight stay at the hotel. If check-in is earlier in day time, then the rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Vietnam-Cultural-Highlights

Day 02: HANOI CITY TOUR

The full day tour takes you around Hanoi’s highlights. The sites including in the day tour in Hanoi are the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilt house, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda. You also have a chance to visit the first national university – The Temple of Literature, that dates back to the 11th century. You can learn about Buddhist practices in a serene lakeside pagoda. Visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to explore many activities and Vietnamese traditional games such as calligraphy, mandarin square capturing (O An Quan). Back to the Old Quarter, walk through the narrow streets that were famous for its specialized craft making guilds. The streets are named for their product or location and still bear such names nowadays. And then join a traditional water puppet show that features the Viet folklores and culture. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 03: THO HA VILLAGE

After breakfast, depart from your hotel at 8.30 in the early morning. A rich morning is in store today as you will experience an unforgettable visit to the scenic rural village of Tho Ha. Discover the vestiges of an ancient miniature coffin-making village and rice paper making town. On board one of the ferries to cross the Cau River and observe a sharing technique for making rice paper from your friendly locals. Return to Hanoi for lunch and the rest of the day is up to you.

Tho Ha

Day 04: HANOI - HALONG BAY

After breakfast,  you will leave Hanoi for Halong Bay in about 3.5 hour drive and get on  board. Have lunch on cruise through the bay. The magical bay is home to thousands of limestone islands rising from the ocean like dragons’ teeth. Later in the afternoon, you will visit an authentic fishing village with opportunities to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Back on board, you will enjoy cocktails or cooking classes while watching the sunset, before indulging in a lavish dinner onshore. Afterwards, you can choose to do anything from joining movie night, playing board games, or relaxing at the beauty spa before going to bed.

Travel-Halong-Bay-from-Hanoi

Day 05: HALONG BAY - HANOI – TRAIN TO LAO CAI

Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves, fresh air and breeze. A brand new day comes. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. The boat arrives at the harbor by 11.30am and your driver is waiting to take you back to Hanoi. Afterwards, have a light break at a small hotel near to the train station. Then later that evening, our staff will escort you to your cabin on the train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

Halong bay Kayaks

Day 06: LAO CAI – SAPA/LAO CHAI – TA VAN

Arrive at Lao Cai train station at around 6am. Pick up and transfer to hotel in Sapa ( 1 hour drive). Have breakfast in Sapa. Today you will explore Sapa daily wet market and then set out on 3-4 hour trek down to Muong Hoa valley. Travel though the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to H’mong and Dzay people. Amazing view from the walk with local tribal people on the way make your experience authentic indeed. Have lunch along the way at a local restaurant. Back to the main road where your vehicle is waiting to take you back to Sapa town. The rest of the day is at your own leisure. Overnight in Sapa.

Travel-to-Sapa-Ta-Van

Day 07: SAPA/MATRA – TA PHIN – TRAIN TO HANOI

After having breakfast at your hotel, have some free time to explore the Sapa town. At noon, check out your hotel then take a ride 5 km to the Northeastern Sapa. From here, take off car to visit Matra village of the H’mong people. After this village, start a trek through the mountain and reach Ta Phin village. This is a handy craft traditional village of two different minorities: the Red Dzao and the Black H’mong. The Ta Phin village is surrounded by gorgeous mountains and the landscapes are beautiful. Back to the main road where your vehicle is waiting to take you take you to Lao Cai to catch the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train.

Visit-Ta-Phin-village

Day 08: HANOI – FLY TO HUE

This morning, arrive at Hanoi train station and see our driver who transfers you to the airport to take the morning flight to Hue Airport. You are picked up by our guide and driver then transfer to your hotel in Hue. Check in and relax until our guide and driver come back to pick you up to a royal style dinner to show off the nice and sophisticated cuisine of Hue. Overnight at your hotel.

Visit Thien Mu Pagoda- Hue

Day 09: HUE CITY TOUR

Breakfast in hotel and meet up with our local guide again to start a day exploring the charms of The Citadel in this former Imperial City with many well-preserved royal monuments in Hue. Board a dragon boat to cruising the Perfume River and stop at Thien Mu Pagoda to visit one of the most ancient and historic Buddhist place. After a lunch served in a local restaurant, continue to visit the most famous Tu Duc’s tomb and Hue’s biggest Dong Ba Market. Overnight in Hue.

Travel-to-Hue-from-Hanoi

Day 10: DA NANG – HOI AN

Followed by the ancient citadel visit is sightseeing the ancient town – Hoi An. After a rewarding drive through the scenic Ocean Clouds Mountain Pass (Hai Van pass), you could have 2 options. One option is a visit to Golden Bridge Vietnam in Ba Na Hills, Da Nang. Another option is a stop in Cham Museum and Marble Mountains in Da Nang. Then you will arrive the well-known Hoian ancient town. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant then check in hotel and leisure time. Afternoon we take a walking tour into the Old Quarter to visit the Chinese Embassy Halls, Japanese Covered Bridge. Phuc Kien Pagoda & Tan Ky House. Early evening will be free time for shopping or relaxation. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10_ Travel to Hoi An

Day 11: HOI AN – MY SON

After breakfast, you take the half day private tour to My Son – the sanctuary of Cham culture. Wander around the ruins of ancient My Son holy land and imagine the Champa people’s glory days dating from the 4th to the 13th century. In the afternoon, spend your leisure time with lounging on the beach or browsing the world of handicrafts and souvenirs in Hoian. You also can simply take a stroll along the riverside to get a feeling of the old days of the busy Faifo merchant port. Overnight in Hoi An.

Explore-My-Son-Quang-Nam

Day 12: HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH

This morning, our driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to airport for the morning flight to Saigon. On arrival, welcome by our guide and driver then drive to downtown and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, we start our half-day city tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Highlights includes The Old Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Independence Hall, War Remnants Museum and the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Evening time is at your ownleisure and overnight in HCMC.

Day 13: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA

After breakfast, we take a smooth ride to the southern Saigon and reach the land that is home to friendly Mekong farmers and fishermen. Walk across their lush orchards and sample a variety of seasonal tropical fruits; venture out in a small sampan and glide through the narrow canals and enjoy the tasty food of the Mekong offered by these hospitable locals. Transfer back to Saigon in the afternoon.

DAY 14: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE

This morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and you may take a walk to the central Ben Thanh market area for some last minute shopping. Be packed and ready for your flight home or onward for an extension to the next destination. End of services.
